BC Sports Ltd (formerly known as Hornet Martial Arts) has been established for 23 years under the instruction of Bernard Chong, a 5th Dan Kung Fu instructor.

Bernard wanted to progress in martial arts by offering a Martial Arts supply service. In 1983 he opened "Hornet Martial Arts" on Hurst Street, Birmingham and is personally dealing with clients to this day.

September 1st 1992 saw the opening of BC Sports Ltd on 34 Lower Essex St, Birmingham. This expansion meant a bigger warehouse, and the ability to stock more products. BC Sports Ltd and Hornet Martial Arts were working side by side for 2 years before Bernard decided he wanted to concentrate on one base again. Afterall, he'd built his business on personal customer service and he wanted to keep it that way.

Bernard Chong is fairly well known in the Martial Arts world, as the teacher of many Kung Fu students and a supplier to various clubs across the country. His client base includes many top instructors.

2006 saw the need to build a new website. We worked hard to come up with a clean, intuitive interface to make your experience with the site as easy and enjoyable as possible.
